Welcome to
Geelhoutvlei Timbers, Knysna District, Garden Route

At Geelhoutvlei Timbers, we plant trees, individually nurture them for 23 years or more, harvest them with care and then saw and machine them into products for your use. In doing so, we play an important role in protecting natural spaces for flora and fauna and are integrated with local communities, many of whom are dependent on us for income. We minimise waste at every point, and either return organic material to the soil, or utilize it in our process.

Based in the Knysna District of the picturesque Garden Route, we are a privately owned sawmill processing high quality pine into a range of timber products. We cut short length log (up to 3m) in all diameters and manufacture the product as listed below. Our mouldings and engineered products are finger jointed into longer lengths, mouldings up to 6m, and laminated beams up to 12m. We produce building and fencing poles up to 6m.
